ActiveXtracts are a bit special. They are baits that can be used when the chips are down and bites are really difficult to tempt, or whenever you think that the fish might not want to feed on huge beds of bait.
Think of it - a paste that can be rolled into a ball, left to air-dry, bounced off a work surface, Hair rigged like a boilie and then, when it is immersed in water, breaks down at a controlled rate.
When Hair rigged, ActiveXtracts shrink slightly, gripping the Hair, yet the outside of the bait exudes a halo of flavour.
ActiveXtracts work because they are pure, natural powders containing ridiculously high levels of protein and because they provide carp with high levels of nutrition without needing to introduce huge amounts of bait. Because carp and other cyprinids have highly advanced chemo reception systems they can detect the goodness in ActiveXtracts before they ingest them. Not a bait to pile in, but one to fish in conjunction with a two or three bait stringer.
Developed for carp, barbel and chub, the 5hr+ structure is suited to rivers, stalking and short sessions, whilst the 15hr+ is for longer sessions.
A tub of ActiveXtracts makes, depending on the blend and liquid chosen, up to 200gms of finished product which equates to 50 x 18mm hookbaits.
